Jason is a native Oregonian who graduated from Pacific University (Forest Grove, OR) where he attended on a wrestling scholarship, earning degrees in Accounting and Finance. His background in both academics and athletics shaped the discipline, work ethic, and thoughtfulness he brings to his work today. Jason currently serves as an Ambassador for The Bend Chamber of Commerce, focusing on outreach to new members and the Bend business community.
Jason joined Cascade Summit Insurance at the end of 2025. Before entering the insurance industry, Jason owned and operated a small business for 10 years, giving him firsthand insight into the real challenges business owners face—balancing risk, cash flow, growth plans, and day‑to‑day decision‑making. That experience influences how he serves clients now: with empathy, practicality, and a focus on helping them feel confident rather than overwhelmed by insurance.
Jason loves both the commercial and personal side of insurance, as he enjoys working with business owners and decision-makers, as well as individuals and families, to tailor policies that meet their unique needs.
Jason approaches his role as a consultant and partner, not just an agent. He takes time to understand each client’s needs, and how insurance fits into the bigger picture, helping them find clarity and avoid surprises so they can focus on what matters most.
Outside of work, Jason is a devoted husband to his wife, Ronni, and their two boys, Lyle and Beau. He enjoys spending time with his family, serving his church, being outdoors whenever possible, and is rumored to being found on the golf course from time to time.
